Flowering gums from WA. They’re fiddly little ones outside of that arid environment, necessarily grafted.
This one hasn’t grown much since planting, something about the soil in that part of the yard seems to retard growth in trees although all the shrubs are doing well.
I’m hoping it’ll establish itself down the line and take off, as trees are sometimes want to do, if I keep throwing compost at it. They’re like 100 bucks a pop so not the sort of plant you want to fail at :S
