The old man wanted a gravel junker and their previous car ('11 traverse) didn’t have any trade-in value after he fixed it all up. So we swapped. I don’t have the time nor knowledge to breathe life back into the Camry like that retired tinkerer can. And the ~$1k difference in market value isn’t a hurdle to them - especially when compared to my turdy millennial self. Thanks, parents.
I’ll happily drive an older, yet functional vehicle.
P.S.- The Camry’s motor ran beautifully before I handed it off. No surprise there.
I also liked it’s seats. I’m not a giant, but at 6’1" 240, it was still roomy to me.
I miss my 08 Camry
I have an 08 and it really is an amazing car. I don’t care for the seats, but everything else is solid. Why did you part ways with yours?
