    Webp saves a bit of bandwidth for serving images and can allow up to 16383 pixels long images, which is all fine

    But the metadata on some images is annoying af, they seem intentionally hard to download as it often just opens the image with a bunch of extra garbage in a new tab, I actually have to use an addon to cknsistently save them (as a format that works btw), and they have had critical security vulnerabilities in the past.

    Fuck em. JPEG works. PNG works. Webp doesnt work but they forced it down our throats anyways.

      those aren’t format issues, those are implementation issues

      you people just hate new things lol, can you please let the internet have new less terrible formats please?
