I really like the battle league, but having single type cup and master league at the same time is annoying as hell as a free to play player. I don’t have any lvl 41+ pokemon and my single type 1500CP roster is terrible -> my rating dropped from 1950 to 1650 within a few days… still, my lvl 40 team performs better in master league than my 1500 single type team.
