  • Every once in a while I dive into the manosphere. Usually I’m consuming their latest perspectives regarding global population decline. The algorithm fed me an asmongold/Elon vid the last go.

Apparently, Elon is such an adult, he paid a guy to level a gaming character for him, played the character publicly (I’m still uncertain about the why part for Elon, the other guy makes a living doing it so that makes sense), and Elon was called out for the paid leveling. Then Elon, on X, banned, unbanned, removed check marks, replaced, removed, etc on the game streamer, this asmongold guy, who called him out on the paid leveling. I know. I’m sure someone can explain the incident better.

The point is, this is so childish. How do you have that much money, have 53 years of age, own all the cool toys, and care this much about a game character or what anyone thinks about something so inconsequential? Or act like this, at 53? It’s childish and weird. Donating/testing portable solar panels in Puerto Rico post hurricane is cool, this is, idk what this is. Unhealthy. We’ll leave it at unhealthy.

And that’s who is in charge of our data, our money, and our electronic existences right now.

Hating on a comic after finding myself on that internet tangent reads as expected behavior.

  • Trump is one of those fantastical idiots who isn’t an idiot. He’s not going to annex Canada. It’s part of the brute force strength show to make the executive branch the only branch. Shock and Awe among all the details we are actually being made aware of. For everything we know, there’s at least 3 things we don’t know. What you need to ask is, why is this a headline?

Interest in Greenland and Yukon is something we’ve all explored over on Reddit. A mad rush to gather and exploit what’s under the ice when it melts. Many of you guys proposed it would be the spark of WW3. (They simply have to ignore the acknowledgement of global warming in this, because it may mess up their political agenda.) If anything, this ends with an annex of part of what’s under that ice.

Remember, Trump has never been interested in the United States or the US Constitution, only in how to be king. This is part of why prior 2016-2020 staff call him a fascist.

What I do think was more of a gaffe that probably had his people gesticulating wildly off camera was letting people know pre 2024 election this would be the last time they’d ever have to vote.

  • I think so.

For all his showmanship, Trump intimidates. Plus, it’s hard to believe Musk didn’t rig/influence the election. That would be a hell of a power chip. Who, on the “winning” side, would risk that coming out? And on the left it’s highly taboo to even nudge the idea after the way Trump acted in 2020. Musk gets a complete pass from Congress and keys to the entire 6 trillion treasury of the country AND all SS# and other data of Americans. ALL 3 branches of government are rolling over and playing dead on it, for an immigrant (which the GOP dislikes), for a manufacturer of electric cars and solar (which the GOP dislikes), who is entirely unelected by anyone, and does not qualify to be President in name by virtue of our founding documents.

Why? What’s the Occam’s razor on this question?

Back to Trump being intimidated. There’s a vid clip of Trump I cannot seem to dig up again, that shows him exiting from something onto safe ground post N Korea visit. He looks like a man who is shitting himself and not in the standard 80yo loss of bowel control due to “metal fatigue” of the anal sphincter and such over time way, which he apparently does have, but out of fear. The man looks terrified. I’m surprised we got our President, such as he was and is, back that day. I think he was too, judging by his face.

My read of Trump is he only respects people who intimidate him. Putin. Jong Un. Musk.
