I’ve told this story before but years ago(probably 2 if not 3 decades ago) I liked a song where a guy made sounds like “ohh bada bada bop ba” instead of actually singing. The only real line he sang that I remembered was “I’m the scat man”… So I went on to kazza, yes this was that long ago, and found a video called “scat man” and downloaded it… I hope I don’t have to explain it was NOT a music video!

From my experience with a fortune 500 company, it’s about using that money in the time span between checks. So say you have 100,000 in weekly paychecks due, if you invest that in a week you will technically make more than if you didn’t(probably, maybe not this week)

Funny story of the at one about 10 years ago I rented a room in a house with these two old(60+) alcoholics. We split the cable/internet bill, normally it was $270 a month ($90 per person). At the time I was about to move across the country and was doing business trips back and and forth. This month I was there for about 1 week. The cable bill came in and it was close to a grand.

They wanted me to pay $350 and I said no! I called the cable company and asked why it was so high. They said it was from like 14 porn movies being purchased all from one cable box(I never even unboxed mine) over a week end. They gave me the serial of the box and I checked all the boxes. I found out who it was, I payed my $90 dollars and told them to figure out the rest. I moved out the end of the next month, never did learn what happened to the bill(wasn’t in my name thankfully).

I agree and haven’t returned but lemmy hasn’t hit critical mass yet… Like I don’t recall a post with over a hundred replies. Reddit used to have over a thousand on every reply on the first page.

Yes but for example for seizures I want a simple form, not having to type in entries. Especially for siezures, it’s normally a busy event of caring for him, having to add a seizure taking more than a minute means it probably won’t be used.

I agree with “if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear” that said before I get beheaded by lemmy… No on has nothing they don’t want public. Maybe you drink too much, maybe you’re pregnant, maybe you are in debt, maybe you have a ex lover you are try to keep away from. Everyone has something to hid but most governments don’t give a shit (corporations may but that’s a different topic).

That said if a key to a door exists it will be made public. They reason why keys work is there is 10000+ of them. Odds are the keys to my apartment aren’t identical to yours. That said if a universal key was made the idea of locking your doors is irreverent. Because eventually that key will be public, you boss may see your apartment, your mother may, your ex girlfriend may etc.

This like tell lock makers to make a universal key that will open any locked door. Yes it may help investigators if they have a suspicion of who did it(and are willing to break the 4th amendment) but who else may it help?
