It might have been MightyApe when I still had a primate membership, it’s been awhile now. There are a bunch of lunchbox specialised online stores in NZ if I recall, but some of them can be pretty pricey.
Might be a bit large for a 4 year old, but our 9 year old is using a b.box lunchbox. The long compartment has an adjustable divider or can be removed. Comes with a freezable gel pack that can go in a separate bit under the sandwich compartment, however ours has stopped wanting sandwiches for lunch
I don’t know, to have all four wheels come off makes me think he only put the lug nuts on intending to tighten it after, but forgot to do it.
The description of what happened makes it sound like a cartoon .
EDIT: Actually just reading it again, I can’t tell if the wheels fell off or the tyres came off the rims?
Ah sorry! Sometimes hard to tell on here. I haven’t watched it in a long time, probably due for a rewatch.
It was! If you like UK shows, it was used as the theme tune for Peep Show.
Not sure which are still wholly kiwi owned, but these developers:
I might actually gain a tiny, minuscule bit of respect for him if he officially changes his name to Rocket Hitler
I actually don’t remember what was in the messaging either. It just made sense to me because the numbers lined up with what was shown when I bought it online.
Thanks you’re right, I think I meant it as RUC’s becoming separate for all vehicles.
The pessimist in me thinks we’d hardly see petrol prices change, or they’d drop and creep up again slowly.
If there was any proof that there is no “higher power” and that the universe doesn’t care about humanity one way or the other, that would be a very good example.
Haha glad I could help 😆

If you scroll down to the example label, it’s the “max dist recorder”
I completely agree that the RUC and possibly even the Rego system is antiquated. Why do we still need little pieces of paper on our windscreen?
But I’m a little confused by what you mean? The RUC label has the ending KM’s on it. You just buy more before or when you hit that amount of mileage.
Unsurprisingly, Musk has disparaged Tesla Takedown as something astroturfed by wealthy liberals (and conflated the peaceful movement with attacks in which suspected arsonists threw Molotov cocktails at dealerships). On Saturday, he claimed without evidence on X that an “investigation” of some kind had revealed that wealthy philanthropists including George Soros, Reid Hoffman, and Leah Hunt-Hendrix were funding the groups behind Tesla protests through the Democratic fundraising platform ActBlue. Aside from misrepresenting how ActBlue works — it doesn’t fund anything but is rather a system through which donors can send money to Democratic political candidates and liberal organizations
“It couldn’t possibly be the consequences of my actions, it’s wealthy liberals conspiring against me!”
He deserves it and so much more.
Oh I meant more that I would be more comfortable using the Leaf for road trips if I could reliably fast charge without degrading the battery. Not so much worried about fast charging for around town use.
I hope you’re right, but I suspect it’ll still be many years before those 1000KM range models trickle down to the used market and even then, like the 7 seaters I mentioned, they will still probably retain a higher price. I actually think demand for EV’s is going to increase in the the next couple of years, especially if this government or the next enacts the plan for RUCs for all vehicles.
He’s been lying for years and still so many believe what he says. In any case, any group doing this would be at the very least spoofing their IP’s anyway wouldn’t they?
He’s trying to blame Ukraine for the attack now. Not like they have anything else to focus on right now, right?
I don’t think I could stomach that amount for a car too! Unless I win lotto or something.
Honestly I think it’s a pretty good time to keep an eye out as EV prices have dropped a lot and there are more popping up as used. I’ve been looking at car listings every couple of days for weeks. If you don’t mind Chinese and Korean cars, there have been 2-3 year old Kia Niros, BYD and MG’s showing up every so often around 28-35K. They usually get sold pretty quick too. Can also find the older 2018-19 Ioniqs for less than 20K. In fact there are a couple here in Hamilton for around 15-18K. Unless you need something much bigger, then you’re going to have to wait I think! Hopefully in a year or two there will be even more models available.
I contemplated changing the Leaf instead so we can not worry about fast charging when out and about, but we really need something bigger first.
my dream is for a car that fits in carparks
Haha yeah I admit that’s one of the downsides.
You could save up for it
We could do that, but It’s also partly my brain doesn’t like seeing so much money leave our account, just for a car!
