Uhh. It matters a lot. When someone hits the ball and your client thinks it went one way then the server thinks it went the other way, the ball will rubber band. Over the course of a match tens of such events can add up and cost the game. Try playing at 150 vs 8 ping.

Yup. For me it is Lethal Company. While we run from tbe monsters in fear for our lives they have god mode, etc. Which simply ruins the cooperative aspect and just the entire game for everyone involved. Why even play? I guess they enjoy seeing people reaxt to their hacks but I dont give them anything, simply quit immediately as soon as I find out.

I think hosting it somewhere other than the HA device may help with speed at least. I will have to try that to hopefully juice it up. No idea whether accuracy will improve.

I use Siri for this kinda thing and it is 100% accurate for setting lights and timers. Sometimes I just want to talk instead of pressing phone buttons or switches, it can save me from getting out of bed. Definitely not a necessity though.

Yeah… if it works it can be useful but sadly this is not quite there for whatever reason, underpowered HA hardware or insufficient training maybe. Like if the hardware sucks it should just take a while and then work but the fact that it doesn’t makes it very useless, and no I dont want to connect to their cloud service thats the whole point of HA is to stay local…

The only practical difference it made for me is night usage. You can play dark movies or games and the pixels dont light up the entire room which they would on the LCD.
