barony!
my friends and i were just getting into the game and we didn’t know how long a good run could go.
for the uninitiated, barony is a coop roguelite that is very difficult especially in the early game, so all our runs had died relatively quickly. we had no clue that a winning run could take over 3 hours… so we celebrated our victory in the morning sunlight.
but it is a double edged sword, lol. now that i have proved to myself that those cables really will come in handy one day, i am forever stuck with a slowly growing stash of cables!
last week i needed the dvi to hdmi converter cable i’ve been saving in my cable hoard for like 8 years and i have never felt so validated
yeah he would have unhinged his jaw like a snake and eaten it immediately
all ex-league players who i’ve spoken with (myself included) refer to league of legends and breaking free from it as if they were raised in a cult or dealing with life-ruining substance abuse that still affects them to this day
not the commenter you asked but i use a binary search when i’m playing a modded game that is having issues to pinpoint which mod(s) cause the issue. beats launching the game over and over to test each mod by a long shot.
a recent example: i put together a mod list for risk of rain 2 to play with some friends, but the game crashed on launch when all the mods were installed. so i disabled half the mods (in order, alphabetically or other) and tried to launch the game again - still crashing. disabled half the remaining enabled mods, test, repeated as necessary. with only a few cycles of booting the game, i was able to determine the specific mod causing a crash on startup out of my list of 50 something mods.
well if women scientists are the devil then nuclear science WAS developed by a demon. checkmate atheists /s
“Arnold Palmer was all man, and I say that in all due respect to women, I love women,” Trump said. “This man was strong and tough, and I refused to say it, but when he took showers with the other pros they came out of there, they said, ‘Oh, my God. That’s unbelievable.’”
lmao
as an asexual person i find other people’s opinions on this interesting. the sex scenes do nothing for me and i’m usually just waiting for them to end but i understand my circumstances are not common. i can only assume that someone who is into sex gets something out of sex scenes, otherwise they wouldn’t exist.
what i don’t understand is the demonizing of sex scenes in movies. like does everyone only watch movies with their parents/kids? i don’t like sex scenes due to my asexuality and i’m glad that there are few of them because this cultural shift benefits me specifically (who has never been in the target demographic) in a roundabout way. but i wouldn’t say they are all gross/unnecessary/graphic/etc as a blanket statement like i see people in this thread and other places online say. art doesn’t need to be for everyone.
sending good vibes to penguin
awesome! i really like the pattern and color choices
angelic 2 the core is one of the only albums i’ve ever listened to that is so bad i enjoyed listening through the whole thing. i feel like most people understand that feeling with movies, but this one album is the only time i’ve felt it with music.
i think you need to look up how supply and demand works. i’ve exhausted my “arguing with people on the internet who clearly don’t want their minds changed” time for today, so have a good one.
yeah dude vegans make up a pretty small portion of the population, so of course the meat industry hasn’t been just erased like magic. societal changes like this happen at a glacial pace and the idea is that more people become vegan over time and thus demand for those products gradually falls. even if 10% of the population went vegan, demand for those products would fall by 10% and there would be that many less animals killed for it because it would not be profitable.
to claim that it is ineffective is like claiming that eating healthy makes no difference from eating like shit after doing it for a single day and not seeing amazing results.
being vegan is literally about not supporting the meat industry, so i genuinely do not understand what you’re trying to say. that one person alone being vegan won’t make a difference? that not supporting the meat industry is the same as supporting the meat industry, which is demonstrably false? i don’t know of a more easy and effective way for a single person to make a difference than to stop supporting it altogether, and broad change starts with individuals deciding to make that change.
please explain to me how what i wrote is different from what you wrote
so you’re saying that they would just keep killing more and more animals to produce more and more meat even if nobody wanted to buy it?
hey rich people probably still say that
