I can’t help with the extensions, but I will say Outlook is the hungriest tab on my machine. 850MB on startup with no extensions. So only about half of what you’re seeing, but still way more than anything else I open.
I’m going to start doing this now. Total power move.
I commend your tab hoarding. I just want to know how much RAM you have to support that. I have 32 GB, Firefox won’t load them until I click on them, and it still struggles at 100 tabs.
Love that song
“A Thai Wedding” by Imade Saputra. My kid loves it too. Not as easy to sing along with as you’d think.
Amazing!
Mary’s Test Kitchen I’m not vegan, but I like the scientific approach she takes to testing recipes.

The Octopus Lady fun deep dives into weird ocean critters.
antiheroines humerous but vulnerable reviews of lesser known horror/thriller movies.
This question made me realize that just over half of my subs are woman-run channels.
Horchata is legitimately that good. I’ve never had it bottled, but it’s relatively cheap and easy to make. If I had the fridge space I’d have two jugs going at all times.
If I caught a fish that fit exactly in the weird bricks on the sidewalk I’d brag about it too!
That’s how I always imagine it when I read it too. Joel from Marvelous Ms Maisel says it almost exactly the same which just reinforced it.
Yeah, I’ve got mine in my phone as “Don’t answer”, but she changes numbers a lot and borrows phones so I still fall for it sometimes if I’m expecting an important call and have to answer unknown numbers.
Weird, I could have sworn I read this headline 30 years ago! And 20… and 10…

I saw a study once that you only need to take 20% of the cars off the road to cut congestion by half. So every person who takes public transit equates to more than one person off the road, for those still driving. Which is just to say these people should be extra grateful instead of constantly defunding it.
I’m still trying to figure out how to bonsai it so that it doesn’t overtake the entire thing and end up as a woody mess with a couple leaves pressed right up against the LEDs. I end up restarting my basil every year because so far I have been unsuccessful. I use a lot of basil and make a lot of pesto, but it’s never enough.
On the flip side, I ordered something on eBay specifically to avoid Amazon and I still got a package from Amazon. Some people are basically just using an automated eBay account as a front for Amazon and pocketing the tiny margins.
At this point I only trust individual reviews from Lemmy. Unsurprisingly that means I haven’t watched much lately. But if I see a post or comment praising something then I will give it a chance.
Hobo code was my first thought too, but doesn’t seem to match any.
