Maybe they’re still mad that the first game was on Google Stadia?

Why is there a button to unmute this comic strip?
Also conveniently means their newly price-bumped first party games will have an easier time competing with cheaper indies. Probably just a coincidence, right?
A big part of the problem is that social media platforms encourage and amplify hateful content.
People are literally profiting from their hate and harassment of game developers (and have the hubris to complain about ‘woke grifters’) but platforms like YouTube just throw up their hands and pretend it’s nothing to do with them.
It does not
I just use the default iOS 18 wallpaper and lock screen - no changes, no extra widgets.
But, again, this is physically impossible with an actual cartridge. The fact it worked with digital copies was just a loophole that they have now closed, surely?
I assume this will be a deeply unpopular opinion, but I don’t really see an issue with this?
If you buy a game physically you can’t have the cartridge inserted in two consoles at the same time. Why would the digital version work any differently?
A rare, levelheaded take.
The changes are fine. Nothing earth shattering, nothing wildly or fundamentally broken, just a visual update to better fit with Google’s new material design language.
No, that’s butter.
‘Better’ is a pre-release stage of software development.
Not sure why you’re being downvoted. The Internet Archive is a fantastic resource, but to say they take a lackadaisical approach to copyright/IP law is putting it lightly. There is SO much pirated content on there that it’s a wonder they’ve managed to last as long as they have, being US-based.
Whether you agree with the spirit of the laws or not, there’s no arguing that they’ve long been on a collision course with major US copyright holders and I doubt they can survive without a massive effort to relocate somewhere out of reach.
Wii U too!
But cow juice is somehow fine?
They’re shutting down Assistant everywhere, in favour of Gemini.
The asteroid that killed the dinosaurs was seen as just one of several possible theories, rather than accepted fact.
Right. There’s plenty to criticise Apple for, both in general and for chasing the AI trend, but looking at it purely in terms of user privacy within AI features they’re miles ahead of the competition.
Yep, I totally feel that. 10+ years ago I was into all sorts - psychological thrillers, crime and mystery, prestige TV drama, etc.
Ever since the pandemic, my taste has flipped dramatically to comfort TV (sitcoms and panel shows) and YouTube content like retro gaming channels, GMM, and Dropout.
I see these huge shows like Succession, White Lotus, etc and while they might’ve interested me in the past I just do not have the energy any more.
Vampire Survivors
While it’s nice to see the return of Marathon as a universe, I don’t think this is the right way to do it. Yet another extraction shooter feels like a cynical cash grab, and I suspect it won’t fare well in an overcrowded market.
I’ve been wrapping up my first ever proper playthrough of Dragon Age: Origins (and Awakening).
I bounced off it hard back in the day, but this time around I’ve been really loving it! Looking forward to continuing through the series in the future.
