  • I’m so sorry, comrade. No one should have to go through what you’re going right now. I don’t think there’s anything I can say to help you. I know that having to beg just to be able to stay alive is stressful and can feel shameful, but is there no one irl that can help you? Is there no place you can go to that might help you in any way possible? A help campaign online maybe? If you can, post this to Hexbear, the bigger amount of users there might help with visibility and material help too. You absolutely deserve better and deserve to be able to live your life to your fullest extend, fuck this bullshit system that is making you miserable.

I deeply hope your situation gets better, comrade. If you ever need to talk to someone, you can DM me, I might not know how to reply properly all the time, but I’m a good listener. ❤️

  • Currently I’m playing Pokémon: Legends Arceus, which is pretty fun; I’m also playing heavy modded Skyrim, it took me two weeks to fully mod it with 1200+ mods, the only downside is that something is killing my performance and I don’t know what lol. I’m also playing Slay the Spire which is absolutely incredible, I can’t believe it took me this long to try this game out, and I recently started Sifu which is extremely cool.

What are you most looking forward to in the rest of 2025 in terms of gaming?

Honestly I’m most excited for Chinese games. I haven’t played Black Myth Wukong because too expensive, but I’m looking forward to Phantom Blade Zero, Project Perceiver and Where Winds Meet. Outside of that it’s Slay the Spire 2, The First Berserker: Khazan, Avowed, .45 Parabellum Bloodhound and Unbeatable.

Are you excited for the Nintendo Switch 2? Why or why not?

I’m more curious than excited to be honest, depending on how powerful it is, it could be a pretty cool modded handheld.

  • It was already a terrible form of liberalism for me to have let things slide for the sake of peace and friendship with people who, if I wasn’t already close to, would throw in the cuck pit. There is still a major issue in that the most vocal of the friends I’m still in touch with are blue MAGA to the point that, if I’m to grow a spine and actually stop letting things slide, I’m worried that I’ll be smeared as fascist myself and lose the close friends I have because pushing back against great man theory takes that make Orange Satan out to be a uniquely evil force instead of recognizing the evil of the system that produced him will invariably come across as defending Trump. I’m bad at making myself go outside, let alone making friends, that I’ll have very few IRL people in my actual life.

Comrade, I know exactly what you’re talking about. I’m the exact same way. I’m only recently getting enough confidence to be more open about my beliefs to the very few people still around me. And to be honest it’s not easy to deal with other people when we are like that.

That being said, in a couple of months it will be two years since I completely ditched my last friend group. The reason I ditched them is because they were actual fascists. Me being a centrist lib at the time didn’t fully realize it, and being autistic it took me way to much time to realize that their irony was actually their real opinions, just disguised for plausible deniability. Since they were my only friends I would let things slide, wouldn’t say anything and would just take it silently. Until I couldn’t anymore, I was becoming more left by the day and was starting to see through them, to the point I couldn’t remain there.

The downside is that I’m very lonely now, but I rather be lonely than at the side of literal monsters that want concentration camps and want women to not be able to vote, both things they seriously told me the last time I spoke with them.

Each situation is unique and you’ll have to decide if it’s worth to continue doing what you’re doing or not.

  • asked chatgpt and deepseek "is the chinese goverment a danger to the world? " (obviously yes, anyone that knows what is going on with taiwan knows that).

China is not a threat to the world just because it wants reunification with Taiwan. Most countries in the world recognize Taiwan as part of China, including the US.

Geopolitical Influence: China’s growing economic and military power has led to increased influence on global politics. Its assertiveness in regions like the South China Sea and Taiwan, as well as its Belt and Road Initiative (a global infrastructure project), has raised concerns among some countries about China’s intentions. Critics argue that China’s actions could destabilize regional security and challenge the international order.

I thought ChatGPT responses were gonna be shitty, but not this shitty. Like really? China’s growing economic and military power is the problem? Not the US, the nation with more than 800 military bases around the world, that sanctions everyone that dares disagree with it, that finances coups around the world and that is the only nation in history to drop not one, but two nuclear bombs on civilians? And China is a threat to the world? lol

Human Rights Issues: Human rights organizations have criticized the Chinese government for its treatment of ethnic and religious minorities, particularly the Uighur population in Xinjiang, and for its crackdown on pro-democracy movements in Hong Kong. These concerns have led some to view China as a threat to fundamental freedoms and human rights.

This has been debunked ever since the Arab League sent representatives to Xinjiang and found nothing. But of course it would parrot the west’s false Xinjiang narrative.

Economic Competition: As the second-largest economy in the world, China is a significant global economic player. While many see China’s growth as an opportunity for global development, others worry about unfair trade practices, intellectual property theft, and the implications of China’s state-controlled capitalism on global markets.

It’s only unfair when they do it lmao.

Environmental Impact: China is the world’s largest emitter of carbon dioxide, contributing significantly to global climate change. Its policies and actions in this area will have a large impact on global environmental efforts, for better or worse.

How convenient that ChatGPT leaves out the effort China has been doing into green energy transition: China to head green energy boom with 60% of new projects in next six years and How China is helping power the world’s green transition.

Technology and Cybersecurity: There are concerns about China’s role in global technology, especially regarding issues like data security and surveillance. Some Western nations, particularly the U.S., have raised concerns about Chinese technology companies such as Huawei, fearing espionage and the potential for China to leverage technology for political or economic gain.

The US has no place to speak of surveillance: States haven’t stopped spying on their citizens, post-Snowden – they’ve just got sneakier, NSA finally admits to spying on Americans by purchasing sensitive data. Besides, it needs to prove China’s surveillance.

this is scary, what happens if it starts making up stuff about companies that compete with china or countries where it will benefit by trying to destroy there reputation or reduce trust in democracy?

As I said before, China is not the one going to or funding wars and genocides around the globe, it is not the one funding coups around the world, it is not the one that raises issue with how other countries are run. I suggest you watch this short clip.

  • I’ve been meaning to delete my account there for a while because I barely uses it other than to keep informed on a few subreddits. It just got to a point where at least now I have an even better excuse to delete it.

Twitter at least still shows me insightful information sometimes, cause of who I’m tuned into.

I recently deleted my Twitter, tho I wasn’t using it since the temporary ban here in Brasil. And even tho it was also relevant for me since it also had insightful information, I couldn’t take the sheer amount of nazi posting that would show up to me there.

Reddit for me had become basically just arguing with imperialists, if my comments weren’t insta-shadow-deleted on bigger subs or if I didn’t get banned on one sub or another for challenging the genocidal zionist narrative or the “Russia is cartoon evil and inexplicably decided to be as evil as possible” narrative.

Part of my experience there have been like this too, plus the fact that I got told that my country deserved a US backed military coup. 🤡

  • I barely use reddit anymore except for a few subs I follow on the app Stealth, which doesn’t have a login feature, so I don’t really interact over there unless I’m really compelled to and when I’m on my PC.

Using it on my browser I see a lot more positives with a lot of subs banning Twitter, it’s just that of the few that I actually care about, like r/linux_gaming that I use to keep on with the Linux gaming side, defending Musk is so prevalent it absolutely pisses me off. Not only that, but there’s also ableism on full display on that thread, and every now and then there’s always sinophobia there. But maybe I’m naive to expect tech bros to be even 1% decent on average. I guess I expected better from the open source community.

More and more “general leftist” subs are going farther and farther left.

Yeah that’s an upside I have seen too, specially on r/latestagecapitalism. I think I saw them doing a pretty hard turn left in the past year where the amount of actually good leftist posts have been increasing, which is always great to see.
