Lately it seems like there’s two tiers with the first being guy who watched a video on youtube and the second being true expert but with a huge chasm of price differential and next to nothing in between.

Wouldn’t call it paranoia so much as standard operating procedure for safe pirating. Everyone has their own risk tolerance but IP guarding during anything involved with pirating is the norm.

Depends on the specificity and sensitivity of the test. Would have to be damn close to gold standards to justify. Company providing tech would need to be heavily regulated. Could be promising tech for sex workers if sensitivity was decent, but by time skin manifestations are present most of these are fairly far along.

Agree about the jars. I tried this and it seemed to suck the life out the beans. I prefer to keep them in their native bag and roll it and clamp it.

Emissions checks need to have strict headlight inspections and tight regulations on aim and intensity. Permits should be required for all these additional spots and bars that truck owners love to slap on too. It’s too far out of control.

Yeah, I stress about this a little as well. I’m all pumped to experience the new roast but by mixing in the old I know I’m not getting the signature of it for that first brew. I still do it though, I’m not gonna waste good beans and it’s usually just fine. I find that the mix usually isn’t as good as either bean on its own and it gives me some real respect for blend masters that are able to make good bean blends.
