The Black Death occurred in 1347. Sir Issac Newton wasn’t born until 1643.

Newton was born in 1642, and I suspect they’re referring to the Great Plague of London in 1665 rather than the first and largest Black Death pandemic in the 14th century.
OP’s image text says a third of Europe, which refers to the Black Death, not the later pandemic. Just in case the pedantry is important to you.
