Great Paranormal Activity retrospective from Dread Central. Yes it’s hammy and gimmicky, but I’ll be damned if this franchise didn’t bestow some of the most fun I’ve had at the cinema.

The first movie was what really made me enjoy horror. It’s very simple and yet very effective much like the game faith: unholy trinity that has redefined indie horror games.

That said, the article doesn’t really do much to justify the title, which would have been a more interesting article. You could probably make a better case with Saw.
