    So by that logic, a Japanese person shouldn’t wear a cowboy hat, or play a saxophone or violin?

    Why has this exaggerated complaining about cultural appropriation become so common?

    She can wear a Kimono if she is white or black or whatever.

      That is one thing that I hope goes away soon.

      It’s almost always cultural appreciation, not appropriation! Please try my culture’s foods, wear our clothes and watch our movies. Ask me about how I lived, what parts of my culture signify and where they came from. This is how we bridge cultural gaps, not by isolating and gatekeeping!

    Cool, I’ve never seen this one with the actual passport photo. That hair and smile though… Based on a quick google that’s not approved for a Japanese passport photo.
