Are we surprised with Musk at the helm?
There a nice reaction from Bjorn Nyland sharing his thought about this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYSOGCrAGAw
TLDR: Tesla’s software is probably confusing and Tesla should have addressed the software issue instead of trying to bury it, but overall the article seems to be confused about a lot of things and the cars are still among the best, if not the best, on the range aspect.
Yeah, the EPA estimate for Tesla have somehow managed to be well, well out of wack with real-world numbers. The other manufacturers the range is actually achievable if you drive efficiently.

I know Ford was conservative enough that I can come close to the official rating on my Mach-E despite not driving at all efficiently.
Same with Chevy. My Bolt EV has a range of 259 miles but when the weather isn’t terrible I usually get around 290.
How do you like the Mach-E? I’ve been looking at some.
I bought a GT 3 weeks ago and it’s been awesome.
