    Now where’s the USER control of what shows up in the share menu?

    This kind of garbage just lows things down even more.

      I think back in Android 10 or 11 they introduced a feature where you can hold an icon in the share menu to pin it to the top. I was pretty pissed when I found out MIUI 1) disabled the feature and 2) randomly sorted the share options every time the menu opened.

      The custom implementation Photos (and other apps, like Firefox) have is actually interfering with user control.

      You can copy any image to the clipboard. At least on stock Android. Just swipe up and hold to get to the ‘active apps’ overview or whatever it’s called. There you can copy images, copy text or text from images or use Lens to identify objects. Pretty useful
