Oh dude. I had the wildest dreams on the patch. It got to where I could only use them on Friday and Saturday nights, but man, I looked forward to those nights.
Oh I’ve tried those, they never really helped me. My smoking habit is heavily activity based. It’s the action of it. I quit cigarettes 11 years ago but now I’m more addicted to the vape than I ever was with cigs. I def can see the benefits of the vape but I’d like to quit altogether.
It was the only way I successfully quit smoking. I haven’t been tobacco free for very long (about 6 months) but I managed to finally quit by just stopping. No more excuses, no one last cigarette, no trying to justify that “I really needed it because I had a bad day”.
Just fucking don’t. Breaking the chains of addiction will more than make up for the misery you have suffered thus far being addicted (or at least it does for me).

I haven’t heard of this patch thing. It’s it prescribed or something or is it just those nicotine patches you get at the store?
Yeah, those are them. I feel like when they first came out that may have been an rx thing. But that was kind of a while ago.

I have 2 arguments on either side of my brain.
“The brown shirts will get you before lung cancer”
“Yeah but if you quit now, you might be able to annoy them for a couple more days before they do.”
So do it, just quit.

I’m pulling for you.
