    He was one cool dude. When I was, I think, a sophomore in high school, he came to speak at my school on the subject of leadership. It was a riveting speech, and he hung around afterwards to meet with the students and take pictures. He was very very nice.

    He mentioned in unforgivable blackness, meeting ali while playing jack johnson in great white hope.

    Ali was enraptured by the jack johnson story. Said replace white women with religion and that’s me. That’s my story.

    He offered some good insights into johnson having played him in the theatre.

    Tremendous man.

    Man, James Earl Jones smiling feels weird; his characters that I can think of were mostly unsmiling.

      The first character that comes to mind is the very cheerful blind guy in The Sandlot.
