Nice to see, but it’s pretty far behind the Windows version at the moment because the Vulkan renderer isn’t as accurate and doesn’t support upscaling.
And since
vkd3d-proton
started working with the emulator recently, that means the D3D12 renderer works using the Windows version, yielding much better compatibility and graphical quality.Oh, it’s an Xbox360 emulator. It doesn’t say so in the “releases” repository, so I was a bit confused.
This is nice!
What’s worth playing on Xbox 360 that’s not more easily accessible through Steam or GOG? I stuck to PlayStation back then because I was mostly interested in RPGs, so I’m not really sure what’s worth checking out (and yeah, I still need to play Mass Effect, even if the last game was controversial - but that’s definitely better on Steam or GOG).
Edit: minor rephrase
Lost Odyssey, certainly the first thing that comes to mind. Developed by Mistwalker with Hironobu Sakaguchi behind it.
fable II
I haven’t played part 2 yet, but first one was good. 2nd unfortunately never came out on PCs.
Forza Horizon 1 was never released on anything else (although you can play with BC on newer Xboxes), playing through Xenia is mostly fine, some occasional bugs.
Too Human
Prince of Persia reboot never got the true ending DLC on PC.
