I’m not a big fan of his videos for my own use, but he has done amazing things for the community and I hope he’s able to do the same for Godot

A very nice way to deal with the situation. I like how it’s both clear and free from hatred.

The purpose of this post is not to denounce Unity because of a misstep, to criticise any of its employees or to tell anyone to “jump ship”. Instead I want to highlight the systematic issue of organizing large software projects under a public company and to let you know that there are alternatives.

I believe him, but for a moment I asked myself - Is this maybe a chiffre to say the opposite? Nah, anyways.

Very happy to see Brackeys highlighting systemic issues and promoting FOSS.

Looks like Godot-Unity had their Lemmy-reddit moment?

That would be amazing to have Brackeys tutorials on Godot. You can already see a difference in the influx of new tutorials and channels around that topic, and I feel like it’ll just grow.
