    Crazy to see Real Madrid, PSG, City and Leipzig in the bottom half. This new format has been a big success. Good to see Barca, Dortmund and Atalanta doing so well in the CL this year

      To be fair, Leipzig have the hardest fixtures: they’ve played Celtic (easiest one), Inter, Liverpool, Juventus and Atlético. With Sporting, Villa and Sturm to be played. The new format is not really fair but the previous one wasn’t either tbh.

        True they have been assigned an equivalent to a group of death. Usually you can still expect them to be in the knockouts most years. When they played Atletico and Juve they were struggling and weren’t able to overcome the teams that were beatable. Don’t see where many remaining points will come from.

        The previous format they’d only have to play one or two of those “big” teams instead of all of them because they all wouldn’t be in the same pot.

        This seems like the double group of death for them. Lol
